For whatever crazy reason… I’ve started learning Morse Code. In Amateur Radio parlance it’s referred to as CW (see-dubayew or in proper phonetics, charlie whiskey)… short for Carrier Wave. Whatever it’s called, it’s been around since the 1800’s and can be used at the lowest possible transmittable power in the Ham Radio World. Anyway, I’m learning it.
Wish me luck learning all the Dits and Dahs (dots and dashes) and eventually getting a “key” to send them! I DID join the Straight Key Century Club – a group of old school keyers (no electronics keys just manual (electric – there’s a difference between electrical and electronic).
