Now, it&#8217;s time to do two very important things:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One, gain the knowledge and experience needed to earn the right to be called a General Class Amateur Radio Operator, and<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Two, be able to help others learn through my experience, foul-ups and the contacts I have made and will make over a lifetime of Ham Radio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Over the next several weeks I&#8217;ll be discussing my journey and those who have helped me along.  I&#8217;ll also explain my own learning process; hopefully it helps you get your own Technician, General and eventually, Amateur Extra License!  (By the way&#8230; if you&#8217;re seeing this from outside the USA, I&#8217;m very happy to see you here and I won&#8217;t forget to add content that isn&#8217;t always &#8220;USA specific!
